About the Service Transformation team
We work hard to make things simple. We use evidence to solve problems.
We don’t make assumptions. We work with teams and the people who use services to find solutions to some of Essex County Council’s most complex problems.
Sometimes we’ll help teams by building digital solutions or designing new ways of working. Other times we’ll help them develop their skills or understand their users’ needs.
We’re quick on our feet and always ready to pitch in, helping the council respond to the needs of residents and employees.
This has included:
- Creating a new Open Intranet for ECC Employees
- Creating a new SEND Local Offer online service
- Iterating the technology that underpins our websites
And we care deeply that council services work for everyone so we work hard to improve digital accessibility.
